Detailed Missinglettr Review

Missinglettr is a SaaS platform that can save you tons of time and energy when it comes to promoting your blog posts on social media.
Basically, Missinglettr takes your blog posts and turns them into social media campaigns that can drive more traffic to your website and engage with your followers. And get this - you can create an entire year's worth of social media posts all at once! Plus, you can personalise the templates to match your unique writing style and voice.
But that's not all! With Missinglettr, you can also customise your posting schedule and decide how often you want to post on social media. And if you work with a team or clients, you can invite them to review and give feedback on your campaigns too.
What’s more, is that Missinglettr even lets you repurpose your social media campaigns by publishing your blog posts on Medium. And if you're concerned about your links looking long and messy, don't worry - Missinglettr offers several URL shorteners to make your links look clean and professional.
With Missinglettr, you'll be able to take control of your social brand presence and stand out in the competitive market. Further in this Missinglettr review, lets dig deep into its key features, benefits, pros, and cons.
Missinglettr Key Features
let's explore Missinglettr key features:
- Automated social campaigns: Missinglettr allows you to create a year’s worth of branded content using your existing or new blog posts. Once you have decided upon which blog posts you wish to share, Missinglettr automatically creates social campaigns for you to review. You can edit, accept or reject Missinglettr’s campaign suggestions. Missinglettr spreads (drips) out the social media posts for each blog post you provide, so it’s shared evenly throughout the year, ensuring higher views and engagement to avoid that dip in traffic you see after sharing a blog post once. Missinglettr is compatible with WordPress, Wix, Blogger, Ghost, Medium, Squarespace, and more.
- Optimised social media content: Missinglettr automatically resizes and crops images that are specially tailored for your social networks. Missinglettr leverages AI and extracts quotes from your blog posts. It uses these quotes to create branded quote bubble images to be shared and optimised for all social platforms, so your blog articles get more traction.
- Promote guest posts: Missinglettr also lets you share guest posts you’ve written for other websites. Simply enter the URL of your guest post, and Missinglettr will automatically turn into an engaging social media campaign.
- Hashtag generator: Based on the content of your blog post, Missinglettr generates hashtags. You can either select or edit the suggestions before publishing. The hashtags chosen for you by Missinglettr are rated out of 5 for popularity. Apart from Missinglettr’s hashtag suggestions, you can also add your own hashtags. You can also include default hashtags automatically in all your posts by configuring them. If you’re not a fan of hashtags, Missinglettr allows you to disable this feature.
- Content templates: Missinglettr offers a wide range of content templates you can edit per your writing style. Essentially how this works is that after you choose a template, Missinglettr will extract a quote from your blog post that it thinks resonates with your audience and offers a variety of ways for the quote to be framed. You can either choose to go with Missinglettr’s suggestions or make your own changes in the quote, template or both.
- Schedule templates: Usually, for a single blog post, Missinglettr publishes a campaign for 12 months. However, you can also create custom schedule templates. You can choose the duration of the campaign, the number of posts you need to post within the campaign, and how to determine the distribution of these posts. If you feel a little overwhelmed by this whole process, you can simply use the handy post-distribution tool that’ll work as per your feedback. You get to decide whether you want more posts right at the beginning or at the end of your campaign, and the tool will distribute the posts accordingly. You can create longer evergreen campaigns and shorter blasts for a few weeks, which is great for promotions.
- Medium repurposing: Missinglettr will automatically republish blog posts on your website to Medium. This way, you can maximise your ROI and impact without harming your SEO.
- Client approvals: Missinglettr also lets you directly invite clients to review campaigns before scheduling.
- Custom URL Shorteners: Missinglettr offers custom URL shorteners to personalise your campaigns. It also offers several providers to choose from, including lttr, bitly, PixelMe, replug, Short.CM, and JotURL.
- ROI & analytics: You can track and measure the performance of your social media campaigns, including metrics such as engagement, clicks, and reach. You can also export these metrics and reports in various formats, such as CSV, PDF, and Excel.

There's no getting around the fact that Missinglettr is a valuable tool, here’s why:
- Share content across several platforms: Missinglettr makes it super easy for you to share content across different social media platforms like Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram with just a few clicks. This saves you a lot of time and effort, as you don't have to post on each platform individually.

- Easy-to-use UI: The Missinglettr interface is user-friendly and easy to navigate. You don't need any special training or technical expertise to use it. It's intuitive and straightforward.
- Schedule posts up to a year in advance: Missinglettr allows you to schedule your social media posts up to a year in advance. This is a great feature, especially if you plan a long-term social media strategy.
- Repurpose existing content: With Missinglettr, you can repurpose your existing content and create new social media posts from it. This is an excellent way to keep your audience engaged and promote your content across different channels.
- Friendly customer support: Missinglettr has a friendly and responsive customer support team that can help you with any issues or questions you may have.
As great as Missinglettr is, there are some areas where it falls short of expectations:
- Doesn’t support Pinterest: Unfortunately, Missinglettr doesn't yet support Pinterest as one of its social media integration options. This is a downside if you have a significant presence on Pinterest and want to promote your content there.
- Image suggestions could be better: Although Missinglettr provides image suggestions for your social media posts, the quality and relevance of these images could be better. You may still need to spend some time finding the right images for your posts.
- Suggested hashtags are not always the best: While Missinglettr does suggest hashtags for your social media posts, they may not always be the most relevant or effective.
- Can't specify the exact dates for a post, only approximate dates: Missinglettr allows you to schedule your social media posts based on approximate dates rather than specific dates. This can be a bit frustrating if you have a specific date in mind for a post.
- Tends to use the same image and content repeatedly: Some users have reported that Missinglettr tends to use the same image and content repeatedly in their social media posts. This can lead to a lack of variety and engagement with your audience.
Missinglettr Case Study
I understand it’s hard for you to base your decisions simply by perusing through some list of pros and cons. So, I’ll try to step up this Missinglettr review by providing this hands-on case study. In fact, you can even try it for yourself by getting a free trial.
This is how the dashboard looks as soon as you log in:
The sidebar has 5 main sections: Campaigns, Curate, Schedule, Analytics and Settings.
The campaign section categorises content into three sections: drafts, active and completed.
I entered the link, and next up, Missinglettr asked me a series of questions to verify the information it extracted from the URL. Missinglettr also provides options on how you’d like to proceed (automatic or manual scheduling).
If you click on an individual post, more options will pop up, as shown below:
Choose which hashtags to use, the content that you want to include, and the quotes that you want to select from the blog post.
The single-view calendar lets you see all your campaigns and scheduled posts at a glance. You can use the filter option to find the exact post you’re looking for.
The entries can also be filtered by their current status (Published, Scheduled, etc.) You can also filter these entries by their Drip Campaign’s name. You can filter by username if multiple people are using the same account. You can also adjust the calendar to show you entries by day, week and month.
The analytics section provides deep insights about your online presence on various social media platforms and a few details related to your audience and the traffic you’re generating.
You can see how many clicks you’re getting per post during a particular time frame, and you can also track the performance of your drop campaigns. There’s also a chart showing which browsers people use to find your content. And also a chart for the operating systems used.
There’s also a section highlighting the time of the day you get the most clicks. All this data can prove fruitful in planning and enhancing your existing social strategies.
The Settings Page allows you to customise your Missinglettr experience. Here you can connect your social media profiles and set your timezone and the days and times you would like your content to be sent.
You can also choose from a bunch of templates and customise them to fit your brand. You can even pick a custom font for your Quote Bubbles.
Missinglettr also lets you set your preferences for hashtags, add default hashtags, and choose to include UTM parameters.
You can also add an RSS feed as a source for your blog content.
Missinglettr also offers its own URL shortener.
If you want to make scheduling easier, you can create schedule templates. And if there are certain words or phrases you don't want to appear in your Drip Campaigns, you can add them to the Blacklist.
The optional Curate feature offers you suggestions for things to share with your followers. If the AI doesn't suggest the right content for your audience, you can use the Browse feature to find the right categories. There are lots of categories to choose from, and each one has subcategories to help you narrow down your search.
For example, if you choose the book categories, you can find subcategories like fiction, fantasy, history, cookbooks and more. You can even see what's trending in those categories.
And, if you have a blog, you can submit your own content to be shared by other Missinglettr users. This is a great way to get more exposure on Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
The starter plan starts at 9$ per month and lets you create one workspace, connect a single social media page, and schedule up to 50 posts. Beginner bloggers may find this plan to be helpful.
The Solo plan starts at $19/month and lets you create one workspace, connect three social media pages, and schedule up to 500 posts. This plan also includes additional features such as the ability to add another user, access to the Curate library, and the ability to make video posts.
The Pro plan starts at $59 per month and lets you create three workspaces, connect up to nine social media accounts, and schedule up to 3,000 posts. At the pro level, you can also invite an unlimited number of extra users, customise your templates, advanced access analytics, and more.
In addition to the base plans, you can also purchase add-ons. The Curate add-on costs just $49/month and lets you add up to ten of your posts to the Curate library each month. You’ll also be able to share an unlimited number of curated posts from the library.
The Agency add-on is perfect for agencies or freelancers managing multiple clients.
For $147/month, you get unlimited workspaces, up to 25 social media profiles, and 10,000 scheduled posts. You can also invite your clients to Missinglettr to streamline the content review process and provide visibility into the social queue.
