Self-Command

KilimcininKorOglu/claude-code-mods · 12 stars · updated 4 Oct 2026

Lets the model run a slash command in its own session and read the output as the next prompt

Gives the model a tool that runs any slash command in the current session, such as /reload-plugins after a plugin update, and feeds the output back as the next prompt. The command is queued and runs once the turn ends, because the engine only runs plugin commands while the session is idle. It refuses /clear, /exit, /quit, /logout, /login, /resume and /rewind, and any name the session does not list.

Where you see it
It works in the background. The command output reaches the model as the next prompt, not in the side pane or under replies.
Good for
For developers building and testing mods on their own development machine who need the model to run and read slash commands mid-task.
Know before you install
  • It runs any slash command with your permissions, so a prompt injection that reaches the model can run a command that deletes or sends data. Disable it when you are not developing mods.
  • Disable with: claude plugin disable self-command@kilimcininkoroglu-mods
  • A reload that changes this mod's own files drops the pending timer, and no report follows. Function hooks load by default on Claude Code 2.1.288 and later.
What it can access Writes or runs
  • Sends prompts or instructions to Claude
  • Draws in the Claude Code interface
