Why Claude Text Needs Rewording
Anthropic said on 14 August 2026 that newer Claude models watermark their text with a version of Google DeepMind’s SynthID-Text. The watermark lives in the choice of words, shaped by a secret key. Nothing is added to the text, so character cleaning alone finds nothing to strip. A full rewrite, where every word is replaced, removes it. Feedough AI does that rewriting, keeping facts, numbers, names, links, quotes and formatting.
This is not a promise that a detector will pass. ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini are not used for the rewording, so their own text watermarks cannot be added back.
How To Use It
Step 1: Paste The Claude Text
Paste the Claude answer into the Text tab. Tick “Also reword it with AI” before you press Remove watermark. If you forgot, the Word-pattern watermark row has a Reword now button.
Step 2: Copy The Reworded Text
The tool shows the clean text, then the reworded version. Read it before you use it: rewording keeps the meaning, but check names, numbers and quotes.

Anthropic attaches C2PA to the PNG, JPG and SVG files Claude makes. Drop a Claude image into the Image tab and the tool strips that data in your browser.

Will rewording remove Claude’s text watermark?
Anthropic says a full rewrite in which every word is replaced removes it, while light proofreading may leave it. Feedough AI rewords every sentence. Results still vary.
Can I check Claude text myself?
No. Anthropic’s detection API is a private preview for eligible organisations, so there is no public Claude check.
Is it free?
Yes. Rewording is free and takes up to 8,000 characters at a time, about 30 rewrites a day. Removing an invisible pixel mark from a Claude image needs a free account and allows 5 images a day.
